About the Department

The Quality Management Department is a structural unit of the Center for Pharmaceutical Product Safety under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The department's primary role and functions include developing, implementing, and monitoring the quality management system (QMS) in accordance with the requirements of the international ISO 9001 standard. The department controls strict adherence to quality standards at all stages of operations.

Main Responsibilities and Functions:

  • Developing and implementing measures to comply with ISO 9001 standard requirements, supporting and improving the QMS.
  • Participating in organizing the Center’s activities and monitoring its efficiency based on standards O‘z DSt ISO 9001:2015, O‘z DSt ISO/IEC 17025:2019, O‘z DSt ISO/IEC 17065:2015, and O‘z DSt 3444:2020, as well as the international Global Benchmarking Tool (GBT).
  • Planning, conducting, and evaluating internal audits, addressing identified deficiencies, and tracking their effectiveness.
  • Contributing to the development of internal procedures, standard operating procedures (SOP), and other necessary documents, and ensuring document integrity.
  • Providing reports on QMS effectiveness to management and making recommendations to improve organizational performance.
  • Maintaining a quality database related to the department's activities and ensuring information security.
