Metrological inspections conducted at the private clinic “GIYOH”

The Metrology Service of the Ministry of Health regularly carries out planned activities to assess the condition of medical measuring instruments and to verify them in accordance with established procedures in private medical institutions across the republic.

Within the framework of these activities, medical measuring instruments used at the private clinic “GIYOH”, located in Karmana district of Navoi region, were inspected by qualified specialists of the Metrology Service.

During the inspection, the metrological condition of modern multislice computed tomography (MSCT) equipment, which enables multi-layer imaging of internal organs, bones, and soft tissues, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems operating based on strong magnetic fields and radio waves, as well as ultrasound (US) devices, electrocardiography (ECG) equipment, patient monitors, and laboratory analyzers was evaluated.

In addition, explanatory sessions were conducted for clinic staff on current metrology service requirements, proper use of medical equipment, and the importance of timely metrological verification in accordance with established schedules.

The primary objective of these measures is to improve the quality of medical services, ensure the reliability of measurement results, and protect public health.

We remind that in accordance with Resolution No. 112 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 15, 2018, all types of medical equipment with measurement functions used in medical organizations are subject to mandatory metrological control.

In addition, pursuant to Order No. 313 of the Minister of Health dated October 7, 2024, and in accordance with the list of medical measuring and testing instruments subject to metrological verification, the use in medical practice of measuring and testing instruments that have not undergone metrological verification in the установленном manner is prohibited.
